Using your resource tab

The resource tab is one of the most powerful features in Elgg. Each resource is a feed of information from either within Elgg or elsewhere on the web, which you can view on its own or together on an aggregated page that looks a bit like a weblog.

How does it work? Let’s have a look at the following examples:

  1. I want to keep track of what Christopher Sessums has to say about learning.
  2. I want to keep track of what files are being uploaded to the Elgg development community.
  3. I want to make sure I keep track of everything everyone’s saying about Elgg, both on Elgg.net and in the blogosphere at large.
  4. I’d like to know when Elgg hits the news.
