As Lars has pointed out, Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 is out on public beta. Here’s the download link; the above picture is my friends page within its natty confines. (Click for a larger version.)

I haven’t yet checked what IE7 fixes; there was a lot IE6 didn’t do, including some serious CSS bugs that crashed the browser when you tried to print pages styled in a certain way. I have high hopes, but at the same time I’m almost certain they’ll be dashed. Microsoft aren’t known for their love of web standards.
