The Institute for the Future of the Book has lots of interesting things, not least the coolest banner image I think I’ve ever seen.
Further in, you’ll see Next/Text, a blog that asks itself what happens when textbooks go digital and “seeks to encourage the creation of born-digital learning materials that enhance, expand, and ultimately replace the printed textbook. The work presented here offers multiple visions of what might be possible.”
There’s also a conference presentation, Sorting the Pile: Making Sense of A Networked Archive, which is largely Flickr-based but looks very interesting.
Blogged without comment for my own further reading.
